In a strategic move to enhance customer experience and drive sales, a major QSR player in Thailand operating over 1000 locations partnered with Rapida Solutions to overhaul their data landscape, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that significantly improved their operations and customer service.

The  Challenge

The top fast food chain faced a significant challenge – they needed to transition from a legacy data infrastructure to a globally approved technology platform within a tight two-month window. Their existing setup, comprising of more than 300 database extracts, was becoming increasingly difficult to manage and was not compatible with global systems.

They knew that their existing systems were unsustainable, however in addition to upgrading their platform, they also needed to transform their data culture by moving away from manual CSV extracts towards a more automated, BI self-service model. This change was essential for improving operational efficiency and fostering a data-driven mindset within the organisation.

These changes needed to happen in a tight window and with minimal disruption to existing operations.
